Ikea Christmas lights remake

Chissà se vi ricordate questo candeliere natalizio dell'Ikea...non ho una foto di com'era prima, ma era semplicemente tutto bianco. E' molto facile trasformarlo incollandoci sopra delle striscioline di stoffa e dello spago (io ho usato colla vinilica). Ho anche aggiunto del nastro e le mia amate stelline rugginose :)

Do you remember these Ikea Christmas lights? I don't have a picture of the "before", but it was simply white. This is another very simple project. I glued on it some fabric strips and twine (I used vinyl glue) and then added country ribbon and my beloved rusty stars :)

La pirografia è l'arte di bruciare il legno, guardate che bei lavori fa Ivan con il pirografo, davvero un artista!

Primitive Candle Holder Tutorial

Ciao a tutti! Da tempo ho la passione per il primitive country americano e cerco di creare degli oggettini da mettere in casa realizzati in questo stile. Ecco un piccolo progetto ultra semplice per gli amanti del genere:

Hello again! I really like primitive country style so I try to create small prim objects to decorate our home. This is a super easy project of a candle holder:

Ho trovato questo portafoto di legno per un paio di euro, ho tolto foto e coperchio (che ho utilizzato in seguito per un altro progetto) e dipinto tutto color noce antico. Poi ho ritagliato a misura dei pezzetti di zanzariera e li ho incollati internamente al portafoto. Infine ho aggiunto una stella in metallo arrugginito e del nastro tipo tela di sacco. Davvero semplicissimo :)

I bought this very cheap frame and removed pictures and top (that I used for another project). Then painted all in antique walnut and glued inside pieces of mosquito screen. 

At last I added a rusty star and burlap .

Very easy :)
